Day and night seem the same
Yet, I am most alive at night.
In the day, I need not dream
But my dreams, I realize at night.
The blueprint of my dreams
I design till the nightlight burns out.
Walking up the red-carpeted stage
My name, the presenter will one day call out.
Today I plot and I scheme
And in the night, I craft on paper.
Many times, I’m caught in my head
And yet, my dreams do not waver.
If I have to be awake to realize a dream
Then when shall I sleep?
When shall my name ring in the halls
And my labor bear its fruits?
Is it when the stars align
Or the bright light speeding through the sky?
Does my sign have a say
The archer with his pointy arrow?
Is it fate that I wonder now
As I wander through time’s mind?
For if I have to be awake to realize a dream
Then when shall I sleep?
